'Lloyd's' Trailwork Day!
Come out to 'earn your turns', get to know the zone, and meet up with new friends. Bring hand tools, water, lunch, and sturdy boots. We provide the stoke (cider donuts+hot coffee!). All work days meet at 9am. Register to receive parking information.

About the event
In partnership with the Crawford family and MA DCR, WMass Backcountry Alliance will be managing our third backcountry zone, Lloyd’s, at Stump Sprouts Ski Touring Center in Hawley, MA. This zone will include two backcountry ski trails to be gladed for tree skiing, descending from Lone Boulder Hill north-northeast down to below Roxie’s Run. Our management project will be to reclaim the trails formerly created by proprietor Lloyd Crawford, to improve the exit track for emergency access, to flag for signage, and to maintain the zone seasonally with scheduled trail workdays.
