in mid-February 2025 we took our BIG trip up north to ski the Chic Chocs of Quebec.​

Our intrepid group, which included a healthy mix of teleskiers, splitboarders and AT skiers, spent much of the week exploring the backcountry around Murdochville with our guides from local outfitter, Chic Chac. 

 

Of particular note was our self-powered day at Mont Lyall where we climbed above treeline and skied open bowls under bright blue skies (and COLD temps!). 

 

With Ullr on our side, our final day delivered 3’ of snow and we cat-skied Mont York under epic conditions! 

 

Between shared meals at the ‘Canteen’ in Murdochville, conversations on the skin track, and soaking in the outdoor tubs at Siberia Spa in Quebec City, our WMBA group was awesome; supportive, fun, and ready for the adventure!​
