Feb 21st to Feb 26th (Sun to Fri)---Join us as we travel north to spend 5 days skiing backcountry sectors at Bras du Nord and Jacques Cartier in the greater Quebec City region.

About the event
From our first basecamp at Vallée Bras Du Nord in the Portneuf region we’ll take two days to explore the Gravité, Hauteur and Sommet sectors. Uphill ski routes are accessible directly from our lodging. We’ll then travel east (1hr) to stay at Stoneham for the remainder of the trip, where we’ll ski nearby Jacques Cartier Provincial Park backcountry terrain. The Sautauraski, Belleau, and Matteucie Sectors are well established and range from mid-angle to steep and gladed with approximately 600’-950’ of vert.
The terrain of this backcountry ski trip will be challenging and fun: appropriate for alpine skiers, splitboarders, and tele skiers with advanced skill and strong backcountry experience. All participants should have fitness to climb and ski long, consecutive days in variable conditions and cold temperatures. A mandatory pre-trip meeting will be scheduled to meet-and-greet, conduct gear checks, assess skill, and review the trip itinerary.
